DOWNTOWN
We were asked to work/help out the downtown store on Bloor Street on Sunday. The artist who designed the Swarvoski Eternity Annual Edition came to town to sign and promote his work at the Eaton Centre and Bloor Street store. It was quite an experience to see so many people came and brought items that they bought from Europe and other countries just for his signature. Some wanted to take pictures with him, others would purchased right on the spot so he can signed right there. We were treated with lunch and drinks, Cappuccino, hot chocolate, etc. Some people brought in six or more pieces even though it was limited for only one item. I was there and made $1,78?.?? in sale in four hours. We were given a package of free jewellery worth $200 for appreciation. Most of the customers are rich and collectors. It just happen yesterday, Bloor Street had a St. Patrick Day's parade and the street were packed with people. It was a cold and windy Sunday but it was fun. I got to have pictures taken with the artist (Michael Stamey) and he signed two flyers for my daughter and I. :)
