Mr. G thought he was being FUNNY!

He came home one day with a silver hoop on one of his ear. I right away noticed it, my mouth DROPPED and my eyes almost popped out. He got so scared from my reaction that he right away told me that it was a joke on me. Well, somehow he got hold of an old style Pic pen, there is a silver ring in the middle of the pen which comes off when putting the refill in. He took the ring off and cut it open so he could attached it on his ear to fool me. I could have kill him that day!

My Favours Fruits

I love seedless black grapes. They are big and juicy. I peel the skins off (too thick to eat) so all my fingers are tinted with purple colour after eating them. So COOL! I love papayas more than mangoes. Lychee are in season now at $3.99/lb. The star fruits here in Canada are tasteless, but in Hong Kong they are so so good and big. When I first came to Canada, I went strawberries picking. I was overwhelm with the open field, strawberries, I sat and ate so much of the berries that I got sick without working that day. I wonder if I should write a biograph of myself???? Hahaha!

Dust Mite

Do you know we are suppose to change clean bedding once a week? Vacuum the bed before putting clean sheets on. Change new pillow once a year? Always wash your beddings in HOT water! Well, I read an article in a magazine about "Dust Mite", there are thousand of dust mite’s s---- ( droppings/wastes) and dead dust mite in the pillow and on your bed! I threw away my pillow after reading it. Avoid buying pillow once a year, I decided not to have a pillow at all.  Ha Haha! Change bedding once a week is fine with me, so therefore, I’ll keep the bed. It’s a good practice, guys!  :)

The World is Falling Apart

I bought lunch at Burger King, decided to eat it inside my Ven. This young white couple drove in with this new Van , a baby at the back. The man rushed inside of Burger King, came back with pile of napkins. The woman opened the door and you can tell they were changing the baby’s diaper. They drove off very fast and I got curious and I looked. They threw the dirty diaper on the ground when there is a garbage can within a foot of their Ven. Son of a Gun! I was so surprised and angry. I didn’t know, otherwise, I would have written down the driver license! See, if this is done by a Chinese or black people, they would mark the worse of us. Sigh-----! That’s why we have to behave a 100 +1 % better than them when we are out.

! mark

I notice I do use ! mark too often.   Am I using it improperly?  :P

????

Have you ever wonder where they found these people? This cashier at Zellers was asking me for the HBC Rewards card as I was checking out. I couldn’t understand her because she was singing out the whole question. Like a recording with fast forward. The thing is I have all the cards laying in front of the counter and she didn’t even look, not even looked at me while she was asking the question! I gave up! without saying anything, I pointed at the cards and gave her a dirty look. Maybe I’m having a bad day! heeeheee

Motherly Love

I wonder if you guys even thought about how your mothers feel when you decided to fly away. I was devastated when I found out cin was leaving to university. All these years that she is not home, I worried about her safety, I cried when I found out she is hurts, I lost sleeps knowing she doesn’t have a roof on her head. I know, Mr. G said I have to let go. LET GO, such little words and yet so so hard to accept. Sometime I wonder maybe I’m not meant to be a mother if I worry that much. A little voice told me the other day that my son might be leaving home next year to the State to be with his girlfriend. My heart sunk. I don’t think it is hitting me that hard yet, not until that day comes. I do wish all the best to my kids. I look around when Cindy, Dave are not home, all of a sudden the house seems so empty, so large and so cold. Maybe this is another reason why I blog with you guys so I don’t feel I’m losing my kids? Mr. G has his own way to cover his feeling. He keeps himself very busy to block off his feeling and he never talks about it. Sorry, I don’t mean to make you feel bad. This is just my thought!

FUNNY, THIS IS TRUE

After reading Ce and Ben’s comments, I recollect this incident. We were at the Club one night dancing, I had the heartburn feeling and was very uncomfortable. I asked Mr. G to go to the bar to get a glass of milk for me. He went to the bar and asked for the milk without explaining. The bartender looked at him strangely, handed him the milk and said, “You’re SURE, you can handle this?” Mr. G laughed.

Why do I BLOG?

I blog because I enjoy to communicate with people that are far away whom I do not see or known ( well, I do know them a little bit because they are my kid’s friends and I know they are decent people, otherwise, I wouldn’t joke with them). Another way of finding out whom my kid are hanging out with so she will not be off track. When my kids were little, I used to invite all the kids with parents to my house for birthdays, lunches and sometimes dinners, so, I know the circle of friends that my kids are with. We (my husband and I) became very good friends with some of the parents till today. Everything I said on the blog are meant to be positive and funny. I know sometime I go off the topic and irritate people. Sometime, I know, I even make-up funny stories (I thought it was funny but later found out it wasn’t to others) to say. I do realized that I’m not talking to my age group nor to my educational level and hoping others wouldn’t mind. My idea of bolgging is “ Never, have too many friends, Everyday is a day of learning”. So, if I made any comments to anyone, please remember it is always a “POSITIVE” point of view and hoping I bring some laughter to you all.

Funny

Just about to drive up to my driveway, along came this squirrel trying to cross the street. I stopped to let it goes but it decided to sit in the middle of the street and scratched itself. It took it the longest time to scratch, then it decided to clean its paws in the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. By that time cars are backing up so I gave the squirrel a honk. It spined off to the tree.

Can anyone HELP?

Can someone please help cin move next weekend. She can not lift any boxes due to her back injury. Thank you.

INSIDE TRADING

The whole world seems to operate with this INSIDE TRADING method. I saw the newspaper yesterday for this Chinese show that is offer at the Living Art Centre. I phoned this morning for two package tickets and they told me the front row seats aren’t available. They have been taken out of the seating plan by two groups of people (VIP). I don’t think this is the right way to operate an event. First come first serve should be the fair way of doing things, BUT, who said the world is fair! Too bad for me! :(

Have you ever in a situation that you don’t want to get involved. My boss is retiring next year and it’s my job to organize a division party to send him off. I was afraid if I plan something like this for him, NOBODY will show up! You can see that he is not a people person. Everybody can’t wait till he goes. So much friction between him and the staff. Well, today he asked me if I’m planning anything for his retirement. He strongly said he will not show up if a party is planned for him. It was music to my ears. Now, I can relaxed and be myself. How sad to be that unpopular and know about it!

Any Green Thumb out there?

The whole family was busy on Canada Day. My son was cleaning the pump for the pond, I was moving some plants around and did a little weeding. All my perennial came up so beautifully. Mr. G (my husband) does have a green thumb, busy trimming the cedar trees and helping Dave with the pump. My favourite white roses (they are not the hardy type) are not doing well due to the hard winter. I have very little blooms this year! Duke was walking around the yard to see where he can and can not go in. I kept an eye on him all the time. He knows he can’t see and is very careful. Often I see him using his paw to find the steps when he knows he is somewhere near by. He stood still and cried when he couldn’t find the way on the deck. I made him to listen to my voice so he’ll find it by himself.
