Moment of Silent

The first e-mail I got when I got back was a sad one. Relatives from Vancouver notified me that my sister-in-law had a heart attack. Yesterday they're taking her off the respirator. She'll be on her own. Her brain is over 90% damaged. My family is devastated with the news. This get I thinking how life is so short and we shouldn’t take things too seriously. Often I see people, all they care is about their own feelings, bad temper often occurred and disregard the consequences and yet wonder why their life is so hard! SAD! sigh ….. Live a full life and be happy, there is a lot out there to be happy for!

Back to Work

15 hours on the plane were more than enough for me. I lost sleep cause of the back aid all night that I had to phone in sick the next day. Of course, my desk is a mess, workload still there!
The trip was very tiring. There were times that I was supposed to watch the site seeing on the bus but instead felt asleep. Got sick for three days after they took us to a riverside restaurant to eat. I managed to climb (four forts) The Great Wall. It’s an achievement to me. The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses were just awesome; you have to be there to experience the truth feeling. We even manage to meet one of the farmers who discover this “Eight Wonder of the World”. Forbidden City, Imperial Palace, Bell Tower, The Ancient City Wall, The Jade factory, The Silk Road, Pearl factory, Dumpling Banquet dinner is just unforgettable. We enjoyed the most is in Hong Kong. Reggie was kind enough to take few days off to show us around. We would be lost without him. Hong Kong sure has changed since 1966. The air was BAD, My lung was congested all the days that we were there. People acts like they don’t care, maybe because it’s so busy there. Will I go back? No sure at this point!
