Filming at the Civic Centre - June 2006

NBC/Universal is filming a new television series called "Angela's Eyes" and have chosen the Civic Centre and the LAC as two of their selected locations. Filming will take place as follows:• June 23 - Civic Centre Garage from 4 pm• June 24 - Prep work in Civic Centre• June 26 - Civic Centre Interior & Exterior• June 27 - Civic Centre• June 28 - Wrap Up

I was there on my lunch break and watched the scene when the girl ran in the Civic Centre. At the background, there were people dressed in haz-mat suits, firefighters and police’s squad team patrolling up and down.

Candy Gram

Yeah, I got a “Candy Gram” from MY son! This program is sponsored by the Hershey Canada and is put together by the City of Mississauga for the United Way. This morning I received three “Candy Grams” (three Hershey chocolate bars) from different people and one is from my son whom also works for the City. I’m just so happy to receive any thing from him. He’s the type that always shows his serious side. When I bumped into him on the elevator or hallway, he will not hug or kiss me in the public which I DO want him to! He’ll talks to me as one of his co-worker. I’ll try to joke with him in front of people as if I don’t know him; his face will turn red and wouldn’t say any thing. Hee Hee!
